We are happy to once again be stocking Liquid Seaweed fertiliser. Seaweed has been used since ancient times as a soil conditioner and fertiliser. Seaweed is rich in trace elements such as iron, manganese, zinc, copper and boron. Liquid seaweed products such as Maxicrop can be applied as a foliar feed or root drench. An application of liquid seaweed reduces plant stress and promotes root development thereby enabling healthy plants with a higher resistance to fungal and insect attacks. Healthier root development enables the plant to take up more nutrients from the soil thereby increasing plant vigour and quality of crops. Liquid seaweed is a suitable feed throughout the growing season for a range of plants from hanging baskets and greenhouse crops to flowering plants and containers. The Maxicrop product we are currently stocking is sustainably sourced from Norwegian kelp and is listed as suitable for organic gardening.
